Inscriptions appear on the reverse. The sanctuary is located between the river Alpheus, visible in the lower part of the drawing, and Mount Kronion and its sacred grove, visible in the upper part. In the upper left-hand corner, the gymnasium and its palestra can be seen. Alongside the river stands a quadrangular building with porticoes, the leônidaion, used to welcome foreign dignitaries. At the center of the drawing stands the Temple of Zeus. Behind it are the Heraion, the Temple of Cybele and the Philippéion. A stadium and racecourse are visible on the right of the drawing. Green hills can be seen in the distance.
