One of them is holding a tray containing statuettes of deities. The ship is moored at the quay, where a warehouse is located. Various goods are deposited on the docks. A mule helps transport them.
The statues of the gods are inspired by the Torlonia relief in Ostia.

The necropolis lies within a walled enclosure, opened by a monumental gate. The tombs are located on either side of a dirt path. A circular tomb stands in the foreground. Its roof is decorated with sculpted antefixes and a statuette at the top. An identical tomb stands on the opposite side of the path. It is flanked by two other mausoleums. On the left, a small quadrangular building, and on the right, a circular tholos-shaped building.
This is an imaginary scene. The mausoleums are inspired by those preserved at Orange and the one found on the circus at Arles.
