Presentation :

Flayed view of Tutankhamun’s tomb in Thebes (Louqsor). The drawing is in landscape format. It is arranged within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The drawing shows the tomb after the king’s death. The entrance is on the right-hand side of the drawing. Access to the tomb is via a staircase and corridor that leads to an antechamber containing a number of everyday objects and furniture used to accompany the deceased. This room gives access to an annex, as well as to the burial chamber containing the sarcophagus. This room leads to the treasure chamber, which contains many riches, including a gold-covered canopic shrine.
