Flayed view of the tomb of Sety I in West Thebes. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The entrance to the tomb is at the top right of the drawing. The tomb consists of a succession of staircases and corridors leading to a room with four pillars and then to the drawing room. A second level, marked by a succession of corridors and staircases, leads to a vestibule and a six-pillared room that precedes the burial chamber where the sarcophagus is placed. This last room is surrounded by several annexes.
