Flayed view of Nefertari’s tomb at Thebes (Louqsor). The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The drawing represents the tomb as it is being decorated. Workers traced the preparatory drawings, while others placed the sarcophagus in the burial chamber. The entrance to the tomb is on the right in the drawing. A long staircase leads to an antechamber, which opens the way to a first annex at the back and a second staircase leading to the burial chamber. The latter room is flanked by annexes.
