Aerial view of the palace of Malgatta and the buildings of Amenophis III in Thebes (Luxor). The drawing is in landscape format and has no frame. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The large lake can be seen in the center of the drawing. The Malgatta palace is built on its shores, not far from the village. On the right, the temple of Amenhotep III can be seen. In the distance, the Theban Mountains and the western desert can be seen.
