Front view of the Vesunna tower at Vesunna (Périgueux). The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
This is a representation of the Vesonian tower as seen from the entrance to the peribola. The round temple stands in the middle of the courtyard. The façade features six fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, supporting a triangular pediment with a tympanum sculpted with bas-reliefs. The circular cella is surrounded by a columned gallery (or pronaos). Characters circulate in the space.
