Aerial view of the Vesunna forum (Périgueux). The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a graphite frame. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The forum and the sanctuary stand side by side, amidst the dwellings. The forum, on the left of the drawing, consists of a rectangular courtyard lined with colonnaded porticoes and bisected by a transverse building. Behind it is the temple. The sanctuary is on the right. A circular temple, known as the “Vesone Tower”, is set in a square courtyard, surrounded by a portico (peribolus).
