Presentation :

Low-angle view of the Ur ziggurat. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The building is shown at dusk. It is built of brick. Quadrangular in shape, it is composed of three terraced storeys. A temple stands at the top. The building is entered via three flights of steps leading to a monumental door. A procession moves towards the building.
