Frontal view of ships unloading in the port of Burdigala (Bordeaux) or Narbo Matius (Narbonne). The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. The lower margin and part of the left margin are preserved and drawn in ink. They contain traces of watercolor and inscriptions. Inscriptions are also visible on the reverse.
A sailing boat is moored in the harbor. Workers are unloading heavy bales of merchandise. Various cargoes are stored on the quay, including a stock of amphorae and wooden barrels.
The shape of the boat is inspired by the Lacydon in Marseille.
