Presentation :

Aerial view of the Trelleborg Viking camp. The drawing is in portrait format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The Viking camp stands in the middle of a marshy landscape. It was built within a double circular enclosure of earth and wooden palisades, pierced by gates and bordered by ditches. In the first enclosure, houses are arranged in four quarters. In the second, the houses are under construction and are arranged in a circular arc.
