Front view of the Thucca mausoleum (Dougga). The drawing is in portrait format. It is arranged within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
This funerary monument is set in a verdant landscape, under a stormy sky. The mausoleum is built on a square base with several tiers. The first level is decorated with false windows and engaged Ionic cornice pilasters. The second floor is adorned with engaged Ionic columns. The whole is topped by a pyramidion adorned with corner statues and bas-reliefs.
