Presentation :

Front view of the Thuburbo Majus forum. The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The forum square is bordered by a colonnaded portico and adorned with statues. Several groups of figures occupy the space. The sacrificial altar and temple stand in the center. The temple stands on a podium, accessible by stairs. Its hexastyle façade features six Corinthian columns supporting an entablature with an inscribed frieze, and a triangular pediment with a smooth tympanum. Statues adorn the corners of the roof.
