Front view of the temple forecourt and dromos at Thebes (Luxor) under Ramesses II. The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
In the foreground, a vast dromos lined with sphinxes leads up to the pylon. The pylon is lavishly decorated with two obelisks, statues, flags and colorful painted decorations.
