Flayed view of the exit of the sacred bark from the temple of Karnak at Thebes (Louqsor). The drawing is in portrait format. It is framed in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The sacred bark, with the naos containing the god’s statue, emerges from the palace of Mâat. Priests support the boat, while others wave fans.
