Aerial view of the Temple of Thebes (Luxor) under construction. The drawing is in landscape format and has no frame. Numbers are visible on the drawing.
The temple is located near a landing stage, visible on the right of the drawing. A pylon opens onto a first courtyard with four obelisks. This courtyard is linked to a second courtyard by a second pylon. The temple is under construction. A ramp has been installed. Workers pull a second obelisk up to gate level. The second courtyard leads to the sanctuary. On either side of the temple are warehouses, stores and the priests’ living quarters. The whole complex is protected by an enclosure.
