Presentation :

Front view of a thermopolium. The drawing is in portrait format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
A man and a child are refueling at the counter of a thermopolium, run by two men who are cooking and serving drinks, under the watchful eye of a dog. Kitchen and serving ceramics can be seen: goblet, gourd, plate, jug, spoon, saucepan, frying pan.
The drawing was produced for the Arles exhibition in 2006.
