Aerial view of Thamusida. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The town is located on the left bank of the Oued Sebou, visible in the upper part of the drawing. It is organized within a fortified enclosure, punctuated by towers and pierced by gates. A vast military camp is located within the city. It comprises barracks, secondary buildings and the commander’s quarters. An amphitheater on the left and thermal baths on the right were built among the houses. Agricultural fields grew up around the city.
