Presentation :

Aerial view of Tell Yehudiyeh. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The village and its dwellings can be seen in the right foreground. The temple of Onias and the castle can be seen on the higher ground. They are set within a triangular-shaped enclosure. This is crossed by a long flight of steps. The square castle defended the entrance to the temple. The temple consists of a succession of courtyards and rooms. In the distance lies a verdant plain.
