Aerial view of the Tell el Amarna workers’ village. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The workers’ village is located outside the town. It is organized within a brick enclosure. The rudimentary dwellings are lined up along four lanes. Small necropolises can be seen on the right-hand side of the drawing. In the lower part of the drawing, workers return from work, accompanied by their mules.
