The city is located on the banks of the Oued Sbeïtla, crossed by an aqueduct bridge, visible in the upper part of the drawing. The forum stands at the center of the city, in the midst of the dwellings. It comprises a vast courtyard lined with porticoes, and capitoline temples dedicated to Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. A monumental three-bay gateway pierces one of the portico’s arms. A road leads to the church of the priest Servus, the thermal baths and the theater. Not far from the forum are the basilicas of Vitalis and Bellator. The amphitheatre stands outside the city, on the left of the drawing. A triumphal arch stands in the lower right-hand corner. Three Byzantine forts line the route.
