Aerial view of the exedra of the philosophers in front of the serapeum at Saqqara. The drawing is in portrait format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
Inside the Serapeum enclosure, an avenue leads to an exedra housing eleven statues of philosophers and provides access to the dromos that leads to the temple not shown in the drawing.
