Aerial view of the low temple and pyramids of Ounas and Djéser at Saqqara. The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The landscape is depicted at dusk. The valley temple is located in the lower part. It stands on a landing stage, connected to the Nile by a canal. A long causeway leads up to the funerary temple at the foot of the pyramid of Ounas. On the right-hand side of the drawing are the complex of Djéser and its stepped pyramid.
