Aerial view of the Pepi I sector at Saqqara South. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
Several funerary complexes are depicted on the Saqqara plateau, close to the Nile. On the right, in the foreground, is the pyramid of Pepi I and the satellite pyramids of his five queens. On the left, the pyramid of Djedkarê Isesi and his queen and, in the background on the right, that of Merenrê Nemtyemsaf. The landscape is depicted at dusk.
