The statue is housed in a semicircular niche. It depicts Augustus as Imperator. He is shown standing, wearing a short tunic, a cuirass decorated with a historical scene and the paludamentum. In his hands, he holds a spear and a plant stem. At his feet, a little Amur is riding a dolphin.
