Aerial view of the Iseum Campense in Rome. The drawing is in portrait format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
This is an isiac sanctuary. The entrance is through the porticus Divorum in the lower right-hand corner. The triumphal gate is flanked by two temples, the Temple of Titus on the left and that of Vespasian on the right. A tholos, dedicated to Minerva Chalcidica, stands at the entrance. At the center of the design is a rectangular courtyard enclosed by two triumphal arches, with an obelisk in the middle. On one side is a semicircular basin bordered by a hemicycle and a sanctuary dedicated to Serapis. On the other, a garden houses the temple of Isis. In the upper left-hand corner, you can see the Saepta Iulia with its gardens and portico.
