Front view of the Hall of Masks in the House of Augustus in Rome. The drawing is in landscape format. It consists of a collage. The ceiling and furniture are pasted onto a color photocopy of the room’s wall paintings. The whole is framed by a marie-louise. A preparatory drawing is pasted on the reverse.
The quadrangular room is covered by a coffered ceiling. It is decorated with murals depicting architectural decorations and masks. It is furnished with a bench.
