The building is shown before a show. A crowd of people is heading towards the amphitheatre, taking over the various tiers of seats. The façade of the building features three levels of galleries with semicircular arches and statues. They are topped by an attic. The velum is not drawn. Only a tiny part of the arena is visible. At the foot of the building stands the colossal bronze statue of Nero as Apollo.
