Three funerary complexes are set between a rocky plateau and the Nile. These are the funerary temples of monarchs Ouahka I, Ibi and Ouahka II. For each of them, a reception temple is located on the river’s edge. An ascending causeway leads to a first low courtyard. A staircase leads to a portico that opens onto an upper courtyard, which then serves the various burial chambers.
