Front view of pottery merchants. The drawing is in portrait format and has no frame. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
Two merchants display their wares. The first man, seated in front of a basket, displays oil lamps in a variety of shapes, colors and decorations. His stall is made up of a variety of ceramics. There are amphorae, vases, plates, goblets, jugs and kettles. A second figure stands and points to a plate stamped “GOLVINUS”.
