Front view of the Temple of Fortune Augustus in Pompeii. The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The temple stands on a podium accessible by a staircase, preceded by an altar. The façade features four Corinthian columns supporting a triangular pediment with a smooth tympanum. Acroteria adorn the corners of the roof. In front of him, several figures cross the arch on the left of the drawing. The procession is accompanied by music. Four musicians accompany the procession. Stores can be found in the surrounding streets.
