Aerial view of the Casale villa in Piazza Armerina. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The house is organized around a peristyle, embellished by a garden and a pond. A monumental arch marks the entrance on the left. It gives access to a semi-circular courtyard lined with porticoes. It is flanked by latrines. A triclinium and oval peristyle are located in the lower section. The apartments are located on the right, along a large corridor. The guest apartments are located in the upper section. The baths are located in the upper left-hand corner.
