Aerial view of Pi-Ramsès. The drawing is in landscape format and has no frame. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The city is built on an island in the middle of the Nile. Four alleys each lead to a monumental building. At the top of the drawing is the Amun temple. To the right are the temples of Ptah and Uto. The city grows nearby. In the lower part, the temple of Ra. On the left is the palace. Not far away, the port, warehouses and workshops of the city are located on the banks. Opposite, the city of Avaris and the temple of Seth can be seen.
