Presentation :

Aerial view of the temple of Amun-Ra at Ouadi es Seboua. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
This is a temple dedicated to Amun-Ra and Ra-Horakhty by Ramses II. A first pylon, decorated with sphinxes and statues, leads to a courtyard with a sphinx dromos. A second pylon leads to a second courtyard with a dromos leading up a ramp to the temple’s main entrance. A third pylon, adorned with incised decoration and four colossal statues, leads to a courtyard with porticoes and a rock-cut sanctuary.
