Presentation :

Front view of the Maison Carrée on the Nemausus forum (Nîmes). The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse. The hexastyle temple stands at the center of a porticoed courtyard, on which figures are gathered. The façade is composed of six fluted columns with Corinthian capitals. The frieze of the entablature is decorated with an inscription. The building is crowned by a triangular pediment decorated with acroteria and a tympanum adorned with bas-reliefs.
