Front view of the nymphaeum at the Villa de Lassales in Montmaurin. The drawing is in portrait format. It is framed in ink. Traces of graphite are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
In the foreground is a window frame. In the background, a peristyle with a man in profile on the right, cut off by the window frame. Beyond the peristyle, between two columns, the nymphaeum is illustrated with three groups of statues. The central group depicts a standing nude woman holding her hair, a child leaning on a tree and a boar. The one on the right features a seated woman, while the one on the left corresponds to a standing nude woman and a tree with a lover running at the top. Behind the statues, a rectangular basin is illustrated. The back of the nymphaeum is apsidal, surrounded by the peristyle.
