Front view of the Mediolanum Santonum (Saintes) arch inscription. The drawing is in landscape format. It is arranged within a frame, of which only the lower border is visible. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the lower margin.
This is the upper part of a two-arched arch. The entablature of the lower part of the arch, not visible on the drawing, and the attic level are particularly distinctive. The friezes are decorated with inscriptions.
