Aerial view of the Medinet Maadi temple. The drawing is in portrait format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The temple is dedicated to Sobek. Its entrance is marked by a sphinx dromos and a first doorway in a fortified brick enclosure. This gives access to a second door that opens onto a vast courtyard leading to a covered hypostyle hall and the sanctuary.
