Presentation :

Aerial view of the theater and odeon in Lugdunum (Lyon) in the 2nd century. The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Inscriptions, a compass rose and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The odeon, on the left, and the theater, on the right, are built on the Fourvière hill, in the midst of residential areas. Semicircular in shape, they are enclosed by a stage wall. Unlike the theater, the odeon has an open roof. Both buildings are accompanied by a pleasure garden.
