Three cross-sectional views of the evolution of the Lascaux cave. The drawings are in landscape format, the whole is in portrait format. The drawings are organized within three frames drawn in black ink, one below the other, themselves inscribed in a larger frame drawn in black ink. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
Three successive cross-sectional views of the cave. The first, at the top, shows access to the cave via a slightly sloping hollow. The second, in the middle, shows an almost vertical access. And the last, at bottom, depicts access to the cave via a first staircase on the left, leading to a landing with a canopy supported by pillars. A second staircase provides access to the cave, with pillars supporting the structure.
