Aerial view of the temple of Sobek and Haroeris in Kom Ombo. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The temple is located on the banks of the Nile and has a landing stage. It is set within an enclosure pierced by a monumental gate. A portal gives access to a courtyard lined with columns and to a hypostyle hall serving the sanctuary rooms. The latter is dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris. The temple is flanked on its right, in the lower part of the drawing, by annexes and a sacred lake with its well. The city of Ombos develops in the upper part of the drawing.
