Aerial view of the pyramid and labyrinth of Amenemhat III of Hawara. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The funerary complex is located in the center of the drawing, in a desert region not far from the Nile, visible in the background. It is set within a vast enclosure. The pyramid is preceded by a portico and a labyrinth of twelve courtyards, surrounded by galleries and rooms.
