Presentation :

Aerial view of the Sphinx and the temples of Harmakhis and Chephren in Giza. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Inscriptions and traces of watercolor are visible in the margins.
The sphinx is erected on the right-hand side of the drawing. The space between its legs forms a chapel where the statue of Amenophis II stands. Two temples stand in front of it. The Temple of the Sphinx is in the foreground. It consists of an open hypostyle hall. Osirid pillars can be seen. To its right is the Temple of the Valley. It gives access to the ascending causeway leading to Chephren’s pyramid.
