Aerial view of the high temple of Cheops at Giza. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
In the foreground, an ascending causeway leads directly into a peristyle courtyard. A staircase, not visible here, leads to a terrace. Against the pyramid wall, in the upper part of the drawing, we can make out a small open room in which stand two steles.
