Aerial view of a Gallic harvester. The drawing is in landscape format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
In the middle of a wheat field, two figures are harvesting. Harnessed to a horse in the opposite direction and guided by a man, the machine advances over the wheat with the help of two wheels mounted on either side of a box, on which blades are placed. Another man, positioned upstream, helps to ensure smooth operation.
