Aerial view of the great temple at Fanum Martis (Corseul). The drawing is in landscape format. It is arranged within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor, a sketch, an arrow and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
Access to the monument is via four aediculae, placed at the four corners of a vast quadrangular courtyard, surrounded by a colonnaded portico. The temple stands on one of the porticoes, visible in the upper left-hand corner of the drawing. Its cella is covered by a large eight-sided dome.
