Presentation :

Front view of the Kroub mausoleum at Es Souma, 3rd or 2nd century BC. The drawing is in portrait format. It is framed in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
This funerary monument is set in a verdant landscape. It is built on a square base with several tiers. The first blind level is decorated with false doors, framed by shields. The second floor takes the form of a small Doric quadristyle temple. The whole is topped by a slender pyramidion.
