Aerial view of Deir el Medineh. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor are visible in the margins. Inscriptions appear on the reverse.
The village is organized within an enclosure, on either side of a main road. The dwellings are composed of three distinct spaces: a chapel, a living room with a raised ceiling and a courtyard with ovens. On the outskirts of the town, on the right-hand side of the drawing, you can see a necropolis with pyramids.
