Garum is manufactured inside a factory. The wings of the building are used for the various operations. Fish salting is on the left. Workers salt the fish in basins. Decanting tanks are in the center. The warehouses are on the right. Amphorae are stored here. Garum was traded by land and water. Donkey-drawn carts transport the garum amphorae. In the upper left-hand corner, ships are moored to a quay and loaded
workers load them with goods.
