Aerial view of the Damous el Karita basilica in Carthage. The drawing is in landscape format. It is organized within a frame drawn in ink. Traces of watercolor and inscriptions are visible in the margins.
The basilica is preceded by a semicircular atrium bordered by a portico and pierced by a funerary chapel with three apses. A monumental doorway gives access to the entire length of the building. Two secondary doors are located on the sides. The building is basilica-shaped. It has nine naves and a semicircular apse.
